Krishna Raja Sagara (KRS) Dam
Brindavan Garden is based on the Shalimar Gardens of Kashmir, also built as a terrace garden in the ancient Mughal style. In 1927, the construction of this garden started inside the premises of the KRS Dam, which took almost five years to complete. The major attraction of this garden is its three terraces, which are laid out in symmetry and end in a horseshoe shape.
All this talk of a makeover to turn Brindavan Gardens into a global tourist attraction is nothing but wishful thinking — or perhaps something else. Reduce the prices, because the Garden is not worth visiting even at the pre-hike rates.
